No dash lights

Post by redek »

Yesterday I received some new led lights for my dash. I started to swap the lights out with the new leds, making sure to place them in with the correct polarity. When I got to the first light in the tachometer, all dash lights failed to function. I then re-installed the regular lights to rule out any problems. But now I don't have any functioning dash lights. I have pulled out every instrument and checked the connections. Thanks

From your post I don't know the year of your car. Have you checked the fuse??

It's a '75. I checked the fuses first thing, they all looked good. I also plugged all gauges in to their sockets and checked for continuity from the ground wires to a ground on the dash. It's probably something some wire that has come undone.
