Yup not a misread, had no fiats never owned one and within the past three months ended up with 3 quite the story if you you have time. 1983,1980,1979 all spiders, any body from here ever come to reno for hot august nights? Just completely rewired the 80 as the same day I bought it put a battery in it (it wasn't running when I bought it) put the key in it and ran in the house for a moment and the cockpit was completely full of smoke totally fried elec. System I just finished installing a new to me complete wiring harness and all seems well again but what a pain in the a&& putting interior back together next week when weather improves but I think I better buckle up seems like being in the fiat club could be a rough ride anyway my feet are wet and already learned a lot about spiders, posting more later hopefully including pics if I can figure out how. Cheers from reno

Welcome to the forum!! You have a fellow Fiat'r in town - SpiderJim. Hopefully he will chime in. He's recently restored an '81 2000 Fi. It's a great looking car.

Welcome,
Some would say 3 FIATS at one shot should keep you off the "streets" but you'll be runnin' the streets before you know it.
