Update:
Switch does not work in my car. Some portion of the ignition circuit is hot even with the key Off. Maybe this module works on FI cars? But not on carb '73. Bummer
How to wire an ignition switch?

Re: How to wire an ignition switch?
My car has always had hot circuits with the ignition off. My wipers will work with the ignition off. Just make sure the items on that circuit are generally off, such as the cigarette lighter, wipers and so on. Just because it is hot doesn't mean it has to be used, just that it can be.

Re: How to wire an ignition switch?
Yes Karl, of course; I meant to say that the portion of the ignition circuit that powers the coil is Hot even with the key Off. So that after starting the car, I can't shut it off
I suppose I could figure out the Russian module pinouts, but I went ahead and refurbished the Sipea switch guts and everything now works fine. With my headlights, etc. now not switched by the key, this fix should last a long time.
It's a shame about that eBay module. It really did drop right in

Re: How to wire an ignition switch?
I seem to have none of the diagramed ignition switches shown. Mine has a tan back and has 6 posts. It is an "Antifurto" Brand. The two upper and right pegs are a copper color. Brown and Black are hot from the battery. Not sure where to start plugging in!!!!
