I've known my FIAT since 1978 when my dad bought it.

Since he has 6 kids and 6 grandkids and all wanted Baby he did the only thing he could, he put it on E-Bay. My wife won and gave it to me as an anniversary present.

Baby is a 1971 FIAT 850 Sport Spider, in pastel yellow.

Most of my pictures of Baby are on the main computer at home. But I was showing friends the size difference of Baby and my Ford F-350 Super-Duty so I have that one hosted already. I can post it now and the rest (or some of the rest) later.

Both manual transmission on the floor, Fiat- .9L Ford- 7.3L Idle speeds Fiat 2000 RPM Ford- 550 RPM HP Fiat-52 Ford-235

It's a bit odd driving home in my pickup then hopping in Baby to tool around town.

Awesome story. I guess E-bay was a way to clear the air so to speak. I have three kids and it will be a dog fight at some point in the future as well. Toss up between my daughter who has helped me bleed the brakes a few times and my youngest son who just wants to turn a wrench with his old man.
