removing bulb from tail light.

How do you get to the bulb on tail lights? 1978 spider. I removed the tail light assembly but not sure how the bulb/holder comes out of the housing. My Chevy truck they just turn 1/4 counter clockwise. These look way different. Do you pry on them to pop the bulb holder out?

Same deal, quarter turn. They're probably partially rusted in there like mine were. Be gentle. That circuit board/panel isn't cheap.

I originally thought they came out from the back like my Chevy truck. But after figuring out the two large/long nuts release the lens cover, I realized the bulbs can be accessed from the front and not the trunk area. I was trying to figure out how to get to the bulbs, not remove them. My first Fiat so you guys will need to be patient with me. I'm still learning. Ask me about old Corvettes and I am close to an expert, Fiats, not so much!

Yep, from the lens. I went through the same thing while tracing a problem with the t/s indicators.

That's funny. I've been pulling the board off in back. =)

That may be the way on a later model with the circuit board.

early spiders require the lenses to be pulled. on later spiders remove the back panel like on a modern car.
