'80 Spider w/carburetor.
Just the other day began having starting issues. Engine fires immediately but quits as soon as the key is released. With continued attempts the engine will eventually run. Doesn't seem to be a fuel supply issue, has new K&N gas filter (few weeks ago).

Never Mind!!! Found the problem - faulty connection on ignition switch. Car starts, release the switch, it quits - led me to the check the ignition switch connections.
