Hi there, for 5 years I drive a 1978 blue spider, build for the American-market, but re-shipped to Europe in 1996. It's a great car to drive.

Welcome to the forum! Do you have pictures of your car to share with us? Are there many vintage Fiats in your area?

Nice car, JerrySpider.
Is it lowered? Rims looks good and time-correct too.

its lowered, gives it a nice look, this winter I took of the bumpers, now the car looks even better. The rims are original Wolfrace 205, look awesome, but driving in the city is tough

Cool pics! Welcome! It's a late 78 or the doors have been switched out to the later style. 78 was the transition year
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!

Nice car, It also looks like it has the D- cup hood and the 2000 side marker lights.

Welcome to the forum Jerry.

Sure looks like a 79 to me. Door handles, big bump hood, flush side markers, later style tail lights, 79 and later steering wheel, head rests and seats.
