Just picked up an 81 Spider on Sunday and got two nice compliments as I towed it home. This is my second Spider,( I sold my '79 five years ago), and was excited to find a garage kept rust free low mileage car. It needs a new top, new master cylinder, and a good detailing ,( it's been sitting since 2003 ) and it should be ready to go. Surprisingly it started right up with eight year old gas in it.
Does any one know of a Fiat club in the Seattle area?........Mark

Yes there is a Fiat Club in Seatlle. It is Fiat Enthusiasts Northwest. I am not a member but you can check them out here.

They have a nice calender that shows all the current activity. I see they have a tune-up rally schedule for April 9th and the Fifth Annual All-Italian Car Show which they are sponsoring, on April 24th.

Hey neighbor! Maybe you and Zippy and I can all hook up at that car show on the 24th? I'd love to see some other Spiders so I can figure out what's original and what's made of duct tape on mine.

Hi Mark,
There must be a Spider problem in the NW, Maybe its due to the never ending bad weather we are having. I am located in Gig Harbor, my 79 is currently on stands. I am in the process of making modifications to the car, I hope to try to get together with other Spider owners in the area for tips. Good luck with the new car.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to the Fifth Annual All Italian Car Show in Issaquah. I'll try to give an update when we get a little closer to the day. I usually don't take my car out in the rain. I may relent this year though since I am planning a couple of extended trips to Oregon this summer that may expose me to some rain. I would like to meet up with you guys though.Coyote2000 wrote:Hey neighbor! Maybe you and Zippy and I can all hook up at that car show on the 24th?
