Hello all! Wife wants one and to keep her happy I guess I'll get her one. (maybe one for me too?)
Lurking here for a week and been google'n like mad. What's available here are rust buckets and parts cars so I've been looking on fleabay and Craigs. Hmmmm.
I'm a career military guy,old harley nut, and machinist and welding instructor so I'm not shy about modifing and fabbing stuff. Might come in handy with this new indevor. I've owned alot of older vehicles and restored a good many so I can spin a wrench. Just give me a manual and off I go. LOL!
Living in Savannah Ga. means I need AC for the wife but that's hard to find on these cars so I saw you can install an aftermarket system so I prob will wind up doing that.
Hope to be a contribution to the site, not a Fiat guru but I know my S##T about alot concerning mechanicals and fab. LOL! Will prob bug the H#LL outt'a ya'll when I find a car. (or two)

Hi there...Jefferson Airplane fan are you?
I hear the rust issues there are similar to the wet coast,however every now and then a rust free(er) car show up for sale. Perhaps the owner had bought one from the dryer southern states. You'll find the cars are easy to work on and plenty of parts new and used available. No shortage of advice and answers here as well.
If you find a car with a cloudy clock face , Radiopilot I believe is nearby,does the best job anywhere in getting the clocks and instrument faces looking better than new.
