Hi from Charleston SC. My son and I purchased a smoke grey metallic 79 spider about 4 weeks ago in Florida from my old Fiat mechanic and couldn't be happier. While this is my 4th Fiat, I haven’t owned one in about 15 years. My 13 year old son and I are excited about our new project and look forward to getting to know everyone here. Does anyone know of a reliable Fiat mechanic in my area or SC in general?

Great looking car! I still remember project cars with my dad from age 12 until I left home. Your son will always remember those experiences. Welcome to another Carolinian.

There is a shop in North Charleston called Charleston Import Automotive. He does mostly British cars but does Itailian cars also. There is also an Italian Car Club here in Charleston (CIAO). I have a '82 and live in West Ashley. I know of a parts car or two in the area, but yours looks like it does not need anything from a parts car!!
Let me know if you want to get in touch.
All the best,
