Hi everyone.
It's been a while since either myself or Tersta have posted on here, but the Fiat project has been moving along slowly.
We moved out of California a little while back. When we reached our new place the work on the Fiat stopped for a while. But we got back on it when the weather improved.
Some of the changes recently made was the removal of all the California Smog equipment. Where we moved to it is no longer needed, which is kinda nice considering how much garbage there is to it.
Now I have modified it into a single point system due to a bad condenser. I got it so it starts pretty much every time, but something has been stumping me.
I get it running and idling perfect, but if I rev the motor, the drop down stalls it out. As of yet I can't figure out why. Anyone ever run into something like it before? I am fiddling with the carb and trying to make sure that I haven't missed something, but as of right now, I am stumped.
Stalls after revving.

Re: Stalls after revving.
Looks like I might have made some headway today.
I started digging through everything fuel and ignition related.
I was getting nowhere, idle mix right, idle switch on the carb working, idle correct, ignition working, etc.
Then I noticed something unusual. The advance was jumping forward much faster than I thought it should. It was going full advance right when I hit the throttle.
So I opened the distributor up and found a loose spring on the weights. One of the loops holding the spring down was so loose around that it was allowing a weight to jump. Once I put it back together, the advance was more linear, and gone is the stalling.
Now this is not really the best solution out there. I have done some hunting around, but not having any luck, is there a vendor that happens to sell replacement advance springs and such for Mirelli distributor?
