Welcome. Have to say the FI system can be a bit of an issue at times but once sorted should be fairly trouble free.
A few things to check I found in the past that gave me a few issues.
The rubber/plastic intake runner. If there is any air getting into the system after the AFM, that can cause issues like you described. If the sensor at the coolant "T" is on the top,the connecting wires/clip may have contacted the hood and the connection may have been lost. The aux air valve when cold is open but will soon close as the engine is warm. If that is pooched then it may stay open and then excess air is entering after the AFM. A couple of things to look at. There is another issue that can cause problems and that is the elec. pick-up under the dist cap. Pop the cap off and have a look at the two wires leading into the pick-up. They get brittle with time and can then break, leaving you stranded.
Have fun

Thanks Chris
My problem seems to be a weak pulse to the injectors still investagateing the relays to the injectors found the fuses and the right grounds to the top of the intake (one was hooked to the body by some one who didn't know where it went .) Still got some issues to address . When it doe's start Noid light will spark bright but when rolling starter barely can see noid light, light up. Should be 12 volts going to injectors am i right or wrong? Thinkin about replacein the relay set You think that would be a good bet ? Let me know By the way I have checked the items you mentioned. Did find the site with all those great prints and information that some of the members in this site recommended. Car still a work in progress from what I've seen so far 99% of this car is complete, BUT some one in its past life seem to like the color teil green. Car was from factory red, that will be what Me and my son will have it restored to. Got a great painter here in the complex, that will work with us to make it a true restoration.
