i am installing a holly 5200 on my 76 1800 today, and i was hopeing for some carb linkage suggestions. I have a new empi link kit from allisons. pics would be nice if any one has suggestions,

i don't have it installed yet i was looking for pics of other instalations so i could get some. ideas as to pivot placement, and rod location

I meant a pic of the carb so I can see what linkage came on it. What year car are you installing it on?

well here are the pics of how i hoked it up, works ok, but the peddle throw is about 1/2 of what it used to be, i am going to make a link that goes to the old stud so i can get a little more peddle travel, this will give me a little finer control.

i made an angle mount and welded it to the carb lever,( that carb lever was so hard that my titanium coated bits would not drill into it) and mounted the pivot stud to that, the other end went into the hole on the old pivot arm in the old linkage. the other issue here is that return to idle is not always positive, some times it takes a little push to get to return to the stop.

the angle on the bellcrank is not ideal. That, and the dash pot on the carb could be the issue with not returning to idle completely
