Somewhere on this forum (or maybe it was on the Jaguar Forum I'm also a member of) there's a thread about all the crazy stuff we've done in our learning curves.
Washing the inside of your motor with water can't be any worse than my story about one time pouring 2 qts of manual trans lube into the clutch inspection cover on my wife's VW Cabrio...... I thought it was the fill-hole...
Don;t feel bad at all. As your learning progresses, you'll reach a poitn where you can chuckle at the things you've done yourself, and also the things you see others do. No offense is intended. every one of us have been there.

I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
Re: new to fiat spiders
ok, i want to thank all of you for the kindness and helpness (made up word lol) that you've shown me. I have definitely learned a lot more since that day I poured water into my engine, lol. I THINK that I've made some improvement in my progress of learning about this car. Once again, thank you all for being so helpful.
