New owner of 85 Pininfarina near Toronto ON

Post by kuchman69 »

Hello all.
I just recently acquired an 85 Spider that's in great shape.

I remember seeing my first spider in the car mags I used to read as a kid, then sitting in one when I dragged my dad to the Toronto auto show as a teen.
Always loved the lines of the car and a couple times over the years considered getting my hands on one and finally bit the bullet.

Love it so far, just can't seem to find enough time to drive it. And, when I do have time, the weather doesn't cooperate.
I'm sure that will change.

Oddly enough, I work for Toyota, and have for ages, but none of our cars do for me what the spider does.

Once I figure out how to post some pix, I will do that.

Hope to make it out to some meets soon.

Welcome to the forum, where near Toronto do you live? Thankfully summer has finally arrived in Ontario!

Thanks for the welcome. I'm just outside of Bowmanville which is about 45 minutes east of Toronto.

Here goes some photos (thanks to baltobernie for the instructions) 8)

ps Love my new Corolla. Ranked last by both Automobile and Motor Trend magazines in their compact car comparisons.
