Hello!
New memeber/owner here. I used to frequent a LBC site when I owned a MG. Now I'm looking forward to reading the forums here to get to know my new little car better!

Re: Hello from Minnesota!
Welcome Don,
I think you have the best year of all, the 1978. Could be because I do too. This is a very nice community and will be a lot of help for you.
Good Luck

Hey Don, I live in Minneapolis. My Accountant lives in your neighborhood and I go there ones a year.
Man, your user name can sound scary to a German like me

Yep, my user name does sound a bit harsh, doesn't it? Most web mail services won't even let me use it any more. LOL. Truely though, just the first letter of my first name with my last name behind it.
I was just out tinkering on my Spider. I adjusted the carb, and fixed a vacuum leak. Now she purrs! I LOVE that these little cars came with Weber carbs from the factory. I had to do a bunch of wrenching when I converted my MG over from the crappy british one that came on it.
Anyone know how to fix the lower (floor mount) tensioner so it will extend all the way? Mine kinda sticks and it can be a bear putting on the seatbelt...
