1971 Spider from Iowa

Post by benihde »

Last fall, I was given a free non-running 1971 Spider as an unintended payment; it had been partially stipped for parts. Prior to that, had no idea nor cared what a Fiat Spider was. I am now in to this "free" gift to about $1000 and I'm just starting. I am having a blast as this mission has taught me alot of what I should have learned in auto mechanics school thirty years ago. Great web site as it fills in a lot of gaps left by my three faded repair manuals purchased off ebay. Ben Ihde; benihde@hotmail.com.

As you've learned already there's no such thing as a free Fiat. 71 is a great year. I hope you still have the bumpers. Keep us up to date on your progress and good luck.
