Glad to finally register on this site. I have been reading it for some time and have found the info very helpful. I am the owner of a 1983 Pininfarina spider and am the original owner.

Re: New Member
My spider has 97000 kms. since new. Initially I drove a fair amount including to work but as the years have passed I tend to save it for only nice days averaging about 2 to 3 thousand kms per year. At any rate it has been babied most of its life. It has never been out in winter and wears it's original paint well. It is a keeper!!! Brian K

Brian, your car sounds like a real keeper. Peter Brownhill has a beautiful Spider and is in your area. Here's a link to how to post pics:

Brian - Welcome aboard. Have you connected yet with the Italian Car Club of Ottawa? It's great bunch of people and several will be going to FreakOut next month, including yours truly. We have something in common, since I am also an original owner. If you ever want to get in touch, just send a PM. I'm in Manotick.
Denise - Now I owe you two beers! See you soon.
