So I am coming from a full size AMC Jeep Cherokee Chief and into an 82 Fiat Spider 2000 FI. Wow, what a different ride for sure! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am hooked! I brought this car home about two months ago and here is what I have done so far:
Front Brake hoses, lines and calipers
Center drive shaft bearing and bushing
turbo muffler
exhaust camshaft (#1 lobe was rounded right off?)
timing belt
alternator belt
spark plugs and wires
battery
alternator
This represents about $700+ in parts and about 15 hours of labor. There is another "hollow" sound coming from the front when I turn right. Sounds like the wind howling loud, but it is definitely a metallic sound. Steering component? wheel bearings, etc? Any ideas what this could be? only does it when I turn right.

Hello and welcome! You sure have a different view of traffic down there now, don't you!
Since you've done some front brake work, I'd suspect a dust shield rubbing. Sound like a stick rubbing on the edge of a cymbal?
