Re: CHARGING LIGHT
Hey, buddy, your CAPS lock is on.
Your ignition switch could be going bad? Too hard to tell at this point. Have you checked battery grounds and any other grounds you cn think of? Not sure why it would glow when ignition is off unles you have a short somewhere (like ignition).

Re: CHARGING LIGHT
if you are pretty sure you have the alternator connected correctly I would guess the alternator has a shorted internal diode and you need to try a known good alternator.
Re: CHARGING LIGHT

Re: CHARGING LIGHT
Ok, I tried hinting. Stop typing in all capitals. It's really annoying and considered to be akin to yelling on the Internet.

Re: CHARGING LIGHT
Dan is right. You'll be more likely to get help if you're not yelling at us.
We're not trying to put you down, just letting you know it's considered offensive to a lot of people to have to read all caps, a lot of people simply will not even read a post written in all caps.

Re: CHARGING LIGHT
Hello Fiat Friends.
I am new to the site. The answer to my question(s)
have probably been answered many times before, if so,
please forgive my inability to locate.
Recently, I replaced my speedometer.
After I put the dash back together, I noticed
a Green/Black wire originating from the steering
column (looks like from the wiper assembly) that is
unplugged and hanging by the steering column
(female plug). Where does that go?
Also, I noticed my red light in the instrument cluster is
now on and my wipers barely work. I unplugged the
wiper motor, installed a new battery and alternator.
Light still on and battery will not keep a charge.
Please advise…
Thank you
