Howdy from East Texas

Post by starman »

I've been trying to build a 110% restored 1971 Spider 124 for about 7 years now. Needless to say, it was pretty rough to start with but I've made decent progress with using body parts from 5 other donor cars. Many NOS parts have been purchased over the years and a pile of used spare parts accumulated as well.
As luck would have it, I have located a pristine 1973 Spider in South Dakota that belongs to a friend of mine that I intend to purchase. It's a perfect survivor, immaculate, and needs no work to drive and show.
With this in mind I'm going to sell off my project and all parts with the exception of various spares I may need in the future. These proceeds will help with the purchase of my new ride and clear up some floor space in my little shop. I'll start getting pictures today a get some posted on this forum.
