Hey from Seattle!

Post by kinsey33 »

Hi everyone,

I've been wanting a little Italian convertible for a while. Lucky me - my husband surprised me a couple of weeks ago by bringing me home a 76 Spider. Gotta love him... :D I immediately named her Carlotta (Italian for "Charlotte" - get it?)

She's going to be our restoration project over the dreary Seattle winter. I've already learned a great deal from these forums, and even bought a spare seat from one of the members. (Thanks, Don!)

Thanks for being such a great resource!

Happy to have another PNW Spider enthusiast. You and your hubby should have a lot of fun doing the restoration and this is a great place to get expert advise (I am a novice and learning from many gurus here). Post pictures when you can of your progress.

Welcome and congrats on having such a thoughtful, wonderful husband :) Good luck with the restoration. Once sorted out, these are great little cars to own and drive!
