My new '75 124 Spider (new pictures)
Just got a my first Spider. She's a '75 124 with over 25 years over detailed service history and receipts. I'm still trying to figure out the mods on her, so if you see anything I haven't figured out, let me know!
-Dual Weber 42 DCNFs w/ ITG filters
-Alquati Cremona manifold
-Magneti Marelli Plex ignition w/ Magnecor wires
-Alquati intake/exhaust cams
-Full Ansa exhaust w/ header
-Lancia wheels
I also made a video showing an air leak from one of the carbs (on my to do list)

I'm also in the Atlanta area (Snellville) and was wanting to know if you had any suggestions for a mechanic. Specifically, I am looking at getting the timing belt done eventually.velozi wrote:Nice. Sounds good after you get rid of that leak.
Re: My new '75 124 Spider

Would anyone like to appraise the value of this car? I don't intend of selling it anytime soon, but I am just curious. Keep in mind that she has no rust. Feel free to pm me

GLAD TO
first off this all just me!
i read shes worth at 2009 to be $11,000 at best.
now my car sold orignaly for$6000.
"it TRULY IS priceless to me!
i see around $4000. to cherry it out
i'd say yours to be $7000.
nice set up
i would get a timeing belt cover
pull that over flow bottle and scrub.
speaking of scrub as it all down i see someone painted
well redo all of it,"if black dose it for you"
buy a headder wrap kit/s and do it
things to check
your idler arm fluid it might be empty
any old hoses -for vacume leaks
rear dif oil
crank case ventaltor system
cluch cable fork and firewall-it cracks
heater contol valve -under the glovebox
hpoe this helps.joe

Re: My new '75 124 Spider
GWB,
Looking good. Nice to see another yellow one on the board. Here's mine, a 76. No rust on this one either, it grew up in California.
If you are going to redo the body think about taking off the stuck on side trim. IMHO it doesn't do much for the lines. But of course that's just me.
I don't usually go for the spoiler look but yours is cool. Might have to rethink that. Your's sits nice too. Bet its been lowered. Mine sits way too high.
Good luck with it, but with no rust you can't go wrong. Anything else can be fixed.

Hi Exit, thanks for the kind words. I have not thought to remove the trim, but it does look great without it. I may have to consider that! Mine does have the IAP springs all the way around, so it does sit a bit lower.
