Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield touches heater hose?

I'm trying to install my heat shield but I'm worried because it touches one of the heater hoses. Is this normal or will the hose burn if I use it? Any ideas?

definitely dont want the hose on the heat shield. the farther away the better. are you using the right steel heater tube.
