Door Check or limiters bad?
Door Check or limiters bad?
Do the door checks go bad? I noticed my doors open further then I think they should, I'm assuming the door checks are no good. Are they easy to replace? Thanks.http://stores.auto-ricambi.net/-strse-1 ... Detail.bok

The door checks aren't too hard to replace.
You need to fix yours ASAP if they're broken. You'll put a wicked bend in your fender if the door opens too far.
Two of the Spiders I've acquired had that problem -- the bent fenders. I used a stud welder and slide hammer to pull the metal back out. You can't bang it out from the inside.
Save yourself some grief and get those door checks fixed right away.
