I inherited a 1975 124 Spider a few years ago and I just recently began restoration.

Hello and Welcome! Bernville, huh? I had to look it up :) Quite a few Spiders near you; an Italian car show (nearly) every Spring brings out a bunch of 'em from s. Jersey as well as your area. http://fludelaware.italiancarclub.com/ is an active club with their famous covered-bridge ride and other events. Good group of folks.

Hey Gritracing, you can't get a $168 speeding ticket in Philly; the roads are too crappy! How far south were you? WV roads were the butt of jokes back when our cars were new, but Rockerfeller snagged a ton of highway money in the last 25 years, and now they have some of the best roads anywhere. Oink-oink.

I'm new myself and confident this forum will help with my 1981 spider that I purchased for restoration. It has been setting up since 1989 with 39000 miles but lots of rust issues. Mrmike318 from central Texas.

Tony must have gotten his ticket somewhere between Pittsburgh & Erie. We were to Erie early in June but we weren't as fortunate as Tony. I used to live about 5 miles above Bernville outside of a little town called Strausstown. Route 183 is a nice drive (especially going North) and Blue Marsh lake is nice.
