new Fiat owner

Hi, have just purchased a 1981 Spider and my first Fiat. Looking forward to reading about other spider owners. And yes,
I bought from an Italian but he had only owned for 5 years.

Welcome. The fuel injected cars are a slightly different beast. Very enjoyable, nevertheless.

Hi, car is located in Franklin, NC. I am most fortunate that I spend about half my time in PC, Fl. and the other
half in NC. I, too, will be doing body makeover. I have some rust along rear fender wells and back of front fender
wells. I just received a pair of rocker panels. My car is very drivable but I plan a winter project to get it looking
great. Be sure and get a manual, etc. As I had to replace a parking Light (rear) and I removed the whole light
assembly........and nearly screwed it up but was able to get it repaired. While off body I saw where there were some
tabs that gave access for bulbs. I did clean it while out and sprayed di-electric cleanser on all elect. joints. good luck.
