What a wonderful incentive this is...
No use having 27 spiderclubs on our Patchwork Old Continent
I like this Forum a lot.
I guess my 1978 US Spider will like it here...
1600 cc EU engine fitted 1999, but kept the US head.
Red paint redone 2002,
New Weber since 2009.
Ready for a front and rear bumper revamp, don't like the original ones
Enjoying every mile/km !

Hello and Welcome to the homeland of the greatest cyclist of all time. I'm sure you and your car will like it here.
Good luck with your bumper swap; I am partial to that look, too. There's also the "no bumper" option:
How about some photos of your car?

Patchwork Old Continent? . . . Yeah, your right Welcome to the forum. Am I right in thinking there are quite a number of Spiders in Belgium? Certainly more than here in Spain Let's have some details and pics. Incidently, your english is far better than most Belgians I know.

Hello Baltobernie (My kid brother's nickname is bernie too...) & Spiddy,
I'd love to share pics with you, but I need to figure out the forum rules about posting images. I only have pics on my harddisk and must find a way to url those...
And yes, there are quite a number of Spiders in Belgium, Holland and Germany. Don't know why exactly, maybe because finding parts and engine/tuning experts is not so difficult here...
Speak to you soon !
