New to the site but have found it to very informative. I have a 1979 Fiat Spider 2000. It is rough right now but in the process of getting it to run well. I could use all the advise that I can get. Thanks

I'm in Evanston and I know summer is going to be over shortly, so I am trying to get the spider run well quickly while I have time to drive it. I could really use some help with were all the vacuum lines hook up to the carb and other areas. Can some of these lines be plugged since we don't have to worry about emissions.

Thanks

The best thing you can do for this is year is swap out the carb for a EMPI 32/36 from Allison's automotive. Then you can plug or remove most of that emissions junk and your car will run amazingly well.

Thanks for the props PC124.

Feel free to join the group. We all know Evanston is just an extension of Utah :)

If I can get mine on the road soon I would like to take a run through Evanston, pick up some goods ;) and back through the Uintahs home.
