Hello fellow Fiat lovers,
My name is Chris and I live in Atlanta GA. I have a 1978 Spider with California emissions. The car has been in my family since 1979. The last time I drove it was 1998. She has been waiting patiently for me to get her running again. I recently rebuilt the Carb, 32 ADFA, changed the oil, resealed the gas tank, cored the radiator, ran new vacuum and fuel lines, and I can't wait to try and start it! Any tips and suggestions would be great. (I also soaked the top half with some mystery oil so I wouldn't break any piston rings). I look forward to learning and sharing with you all!

All that aggressive friendliness, I guess.

Anyway, if you're still out there, welcome to the growing numbers of GA Spider drivers!

Thanks for the warm welcome! It's been a while since I have been able to work on my spider. I just checked the coil and it needs replacing. I have a Klitz OEM G52S. Can anyone recommend a good replacement? I'm looking at the Bosch Super Blue or the Echlin from Napa. I'm on a budget...

Both good choices.I have a Accel super coil on mine.I think there is very little ,if any, difference between them.Let your wallet be your guide :D
