Horn Relay Current Rating, '78 CS1

Post by opus10583 »

Hi,

I want to upgrade to Griot's Compact air horns, will the stock FIAT Spider horn relay be sufficient, the horns are rated at 18amps, or need I start fishing wires for the relay that came in the box ?

Thanks,
Mark

That's just what I did and the current relay seems to be sufficient.

Thanks!

Did the existing connectors match up, or am I pushing it?

Ciao,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Have them in both my spiders. Sound great. Doug (EXIT 98) used to make fun of my horns. Not anymore!

Hi George,

Did you use the stock relay, were you able to use the stock connectors?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

George is using the stock relays and Doug still makes fun of his horns.
