Hello gentleman and....any ladies?
I'm from Waukesha, Wisconsin. I previously owned a 74 Spider and am just about to buy an 82. I love these cars, and I'm so happy to be getting back into one again!
Hooray!
Re: Hooray!
Congratulations! Nice choices, my first was also a 74 and now I have an 82 so we have a lot in common. Make sure you come back with pictures.

Re: Hooray!
Good to see another 82 owner. Very good year! let's see some pics. As you are about to buy, do some of the homework on the site for what to look for on our cars. As you know there are a ton of spiders out there and the prices vary greatly. The cars on e-bay or evil bay are the hardest to get a good read on since inspecting them prior to purchase requires some trust on what the prior owner is telling you. In short, i paid a little more than i should have for my 82 even after talking to the prior owner for a couple hours and covering all the typical shortfalls. I still needed a new crossmember, all new brake lines, had to virtually redo every electrical connection/ground, and more. With that said.... Love the car, love driving it and even love turning an wrench again after 25 years off.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!
