Off topic..

An Essex girl was driving down the A13 when her car phone rang. It was her boyfriend, urgently warning her, "Treacle, I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on the A13. Please be careful!" "It's not just one car!" said the Essex girl, "There's hundreds of them!"
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

My boy Matthew wont go for it he dosnt like MGs and the only one I realy like is the MGTD from the movie Love Story from way back when. I dont think I will talk a MGTD owner in to an evan swap so we will have to figure out the problems with the little racer we have. Made appointment with local stock car fab man to get roll bar made.He loves his little fiat evan if we do have to push it home. Flood warnings all around us still raining waiting for sun to come back to try other things to find out why coil overheats.Car in under tarp he is runing m z to school till then.

Sorry I meant MGTC I was only 9 years old when Ryan Oneal was driving his MG in LOVE STORY and 30 years old when I figured out why every adult at the theater in 1970 left the movie in tears.

just bought a stock replacement coil (BWD E30 $23) from advance auto and it has a 1.7ohm primary and 8500 ohm secondary-- IAP calls for a .7 primary and 10K secondary--- i keep it in the trunk for a spare till i figure this out. i used some perforated alum to make a heat sink to absorb and deflect heat for now..
