The fiat passed her first major test. After my ebay purchase she spent about 10 days at the shop, as I had targeted yesterday as a trip I wanted her to be ready for. I had made a couple 45 mile drives in the evening but yesterday was the first real test. 240 miles from my home in southern Iowa to Dubuque and then 245 back. We had awesome weather the whole way there - High 70s/80s and we made a short stop at Mike's in Anamosa, who was kind enough to open his home, and introduce me to all the benefits of FLU of Chicago. Plus he was able to put my new mirror on. Thanks. Mike. I'll cut to the chase. The car was perfect. She ran great, didnt overheat..much, and did everything we asked of her. It was the kind of day I dreamed about when I bought her. What is your first memory of a drive with your fiat?
