...Why not?
I think the IAP kit is a great value: I can't imagine gathering the parts and assembling the harness for anywhere near $50 (incl shipping) considering factoring in time as money.

The gauge of wire is important, if its too thin, what's the point. The relays are cheap, it's the wire and crimps that add up the dollars.

I've already put one in, the greatest single $50 I've spent on the car.

I meant to ask, but the days simply aren't long enough anymore for all the dust in my head: Do you think he could/would help me diagram the circuits to add a selectable rear-fog and/or low-third-brake light to my car?*
...I'd obviously buy the "installation fluid" and/or a couple of decent pizzas.
Thanks,
Mark

Just piggy back off the passenger brake light to the third and send the pizza's to my house.

Re: DIY HEADLIGHT RELAY ?
When I did my relay setup, I wired the lowbeam continuously on with the highbeam engaging as normal...I like it, even more light now, one of the best 124 spider upgrades other than high compression ....in my opinion though

Would that it were that simple...
I want the thing to be selectable as either a third brake light or a rear fog light, both on a fused relay.
With my oft-mentioned limited electrical circuit skill set I can't figure out how to do it without long runs of wire and knife switches.
