I have a 1984 Pininfarina Azzura (Red/Tan) and am interested in restoring the interior. I would like to find OEM-type replacement carpet and door panels. Can anyone recommend a source that carries a carpet and interior door panels that have the same look as the factory installed parts? I can find "pile" carpet and door panels that look like the earlier Fiat 2000 Spiders but not the later Pininfarina models. I am also in need of a new dash (or cover) and a new center console (or cover). Any suggestions?
Finally, I like the look of the 1985.5 wheels that are smoother in appearance compared to the Chromodora wheels issued on previous model years. Does anyone know what company manufactured these or what the model name of these wheels are?
Thanks!

Re: Restoring 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Questions
I am also restoring one of the Pininfarina built spiders. Mine is an 83. Finding "correct" carpet for the Azzura is going to be tough. There is a seller on eBay who sells carpet sets for the 83-85 cars, but it's not the OEM pattern/texture. It basically low-end cut pile fuzzy carpet. I ordered a set and have installed it as a "good enough for now" answer. Eventually I will have an upholstery shop custom make carpet, a decent upholstery shop should be able to find something close to the original, cut it for you, edge it, and install it with some quality insulation/backing.
As for the wheels on the 85.5 Spider, are these the ones you are asking about?
Thoser are going to be VERY hard to find. Supposedly less than 200 85.5 Spiders were imported, and I don't know if that wheel was used anywhere else.
To my eyes, the wheel Lancia used on the Zagato was pretty close. Not exact, but similar.

Re: Restoring 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Questions
Thanks for the feedback.
I am going to a wholesale distributor this weekend that deals in a wide range of automotive/marine carpets. If I can match a carpet with a comparable color/texture as the original OEM Pininfarina Azzura cars, I may have a few sets made since there is no exact replacement that I can find anywhere.

Re: Restoring 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Questions
I'm going to try to save the original carpets, as well as the original door panel material, maybe making new backing material (fiberglass-reinforcing of masonite type board?). I don't know if the dash sold for "later Fiat Spiders" would fit in the Pininfarinas; the center consoles are definitely not the same. I will have to get creative to try to repair what I have, I think.
Re: Restoring 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Questions
I'm pretty sure the lower part of the center console is the same, the horizontal part, so to speak. The vertical stack is obviously a Pininfarina only item. I think one of the vendors has a few NOS center stacks for sale, but at a price.
