Hi everybody, I'm a professional mechanic restoring a 1978 Spider. The car is solid, just re-gasketed the motor and trans. New control arms, brakes, tune up. Cleaned up everything. Runs strong. The car is in primer and I would like to sell it.

After all that? Was it a customer's car that got abandoned?

It all started last winter when he had a noise in the front of the engine, timing belt tensioner. The part took 6 weeks to get and after we fixed that he wanted to sell it for $1500. No takers. Since the guy is a good customer I asked him if he minded if I would work on it during slow times. So one thing led to another and now I have a lot of money tied up in parts not to mention my time. The customer still wants to sell it. If you look at my facebook page and the Fiat pictures (J & S Auto Repair) there are a bunch of before pictures. I'll be posting the after pictures soon. It's running real good but now it's the little stuff that needs done, I put the car in primer and will continue to finish it off. I figure that I'd break even at $4500 right now so if you know anybody who wants it let them know.
