Hi all, I am not currently a Spider owner but am working on that. In the early 90s I owned a '79 which I had cosmetically restored but could never get the best of electrically so i sold it. Now that I am older and enjoy tinkering more and have you all plus many other internet references i am ready to join the club again. I feel that it's easier to learn what issues are and to correct them when you can watch instructional videos for example. i am currently thinking that my preference would be a '71 or '72 although a '68 would be awesome as that's my birth year too.
I look forward to being an active member of this fine forum!

Greeting from a northern neighbor. Interesting that you choose 1968; it's the year I graduated HS. Last Monday I dragged home a 68 850 Spider as a restoration project.
