New member 84 -124 spider

Just bought a 84 124 spider in rough shape . Biggest problem is a pin hole gas tank leak in top of tank in the trunk. How do i patch? How do i drain tank to patch.

Hello and welcome, I haven't seen many 84 spider owners on here. You have one of the newest i'v heard of. As far as your leaking fuel tank goes, If your hole is in the top and the rest of the tank is sound, I have some very good apoxy I would use if it were me and the hole wasn't to large. There are many good people on this forum who I know have a good fuel tank that would be glad to sell you at a very reasonable price which would be your best route. Many spiders being out.

i allmost did that to mine whille mounting an amp

well as far as your hole you could seal it by rtv silicone gasket maker with the screw that punched the hole

or epoxie it"jb weld"

or replace the tank

i would do the first
