Hello new dutch member fiat 850

I am the owner of a Fiat spider 850 sport 1972. The car is since 2 years in my possession and trying to get it back in original state. Hope – to get help with the problems that I still oppose . place of residence in the north of netherlands (Den Helder)
it was imorted from CA in 1997 and original blue in californie painted raging green ( bad paint job)



at the moment it gets a new paintjob

Welcome. Although quite a project it looks like an excellent starting place. Please keep us in the loop, although there are not a lot of us 850 owners, we are a helpful lot.

Is it going to be a light blue or the darker Mediteranean blue?

Thanks for the warm welcome the colour goneby metalic raging green same colour as on the first picture you can see the origanal colour on the below picture so it will not come back in its origanal colour.

you gonna like this site, very friendly and helpfull.

As I live quite in the neighbourhood ( Belgium ) I might give the oversee-people an idea about how Holland is ( in spring : tulips everywhere; in june, when there is a soccer-championship it's orange everywhere )


( not on topic ? if you look carefully, you might see a little fiat hidden behind the tulips ( very well hidden ))

anyway, if you need a hand, just let me know.
I have good memory's of fiat 850's ( coupé).

Thanks for the picture hope spring will be early this year so i can drive that little fiat far far far in the distance on the picture.

But still the paintjob is not finished. And there is a little oil leak between the transmission and the motor have too look in to that (or chance the oil from 15/40 to 20/50)
