Hello all,
My name is Neal and i live in Ky. I just bought a 1982 Spider. It is the 4th one that i've owned since i was 16. I started with a 1969, then a 1981, then another 1981, now a 1982. I always loved these cars and wanted a project for the winter. I will post some pics soon. Looking forward to lots of reading of posts on the forum.
Neal

Wow, very clean! Your idea of a "winter project" looks good enough to me!

Re: Can't stay away... Update
Thanks... It still needs some TLC, but it's in better shape then i thought it would be. The front suspension is all new, and it only has 75K on the clock. The top was put on in 1988, and is in rough shape. I am looking for a few missing parts and with a new top it will be complete.
Re: Can't stay away... Update
Welcome. Good looking car. I was down in south western ky last week.and thought while I was there I would check the local junk yards for fiats or parts. Went to a couple in the area and they looked at me as if I was crazy for asking for fiat stuff. I guess what I'm saying is good luck getting parts local.
Re: Can't stay away... Update
Thanks, years ago there were a few cars in the local yards. Ebay has most used parts i will need, but there not cheap.
A new top is my next upgrade. I'll look for a local place to install, then i'll order the top.
