What are they?
What are they?
Both installed by the PO- Component A has (among others) a wire leading to a temp sensor stuck in the radiator. Any clue as to what it might be?
B is obviously a starter motor relay/solenoid. The PO installed a push-button start and obviously he felt this was needed as well.... Do you think I should eliminate it and go back to stock?

Re: What are they?
if he did this then your ING has issues
i wouldnt recamend doing that but its already done
if you can live with it then leave it
if you have time and money AND the desire to
do it right then plan first, what all it needs
then do it

"A" looks like an aftermarket fan relay by hayden
"B" looks like a Ford starter relay

Yep, relays... How about that, A prior owner that most likely did something good or even great to the car. I've often thought about installing multiple relays on various components so thay are not all running through the ignition pulling amps from old alternators. wipers, headlights, fan, starter! Good stuff. I may need to put that headlight relay back on the list.

Yeah, the PO also did the Brown Wire Fix, it appears. Of course nothing works right in the car, electric-wise. It did start and drive down the road, before I pulled the engine, though.TX82FIAT wrote:Yep, relays... How about that, A prior owner that most likely did something good or even great to the car. It may have been a good idea to add that Ford relay, but I need it to look a little more appealing, at least.
