I won this 79 spider 2000 for $2000 (including shipping) on eBay last month and am still waiting for the po to get a title and ship it to me. When I get it to my home in Indiana I will remove the ANSA exhaust, both front seats (replaced with the ones I have with a few more cracks), rear view mirror, heater bezel, the windshield washer system, taillight wiring. Is there anyone here interested in the rest of the car to restore? Read the ad for details and pictures, but it does have a carbeurated 2000 engine that turns over, 5 spd transmission, mostly rust-free body (including floors and shock towers), brake system, an original black dashboard without cracks!, all instruments, steering wheel, back seat, all glass, good wheels /tires, fuel tank, a fairly new tan cloth top/frame with clear window, black top boot and bumpers with decent chrome, just to name some of the things I don't need for my 84 that will go with the car. Make me an offer over $1600 and let's work something out. I really don't want to part it out completely and scrap this nice low-rust body. I also have all the new parts for a tune up on a 79, and a new coil, a rebuilt starter and both hood/trunk badges (new) that I bought when i was planning to restore this car that I need to sell.

By "means" do you mean $ or transportation for the vehicle to your place? If I end up having to part it out completely, what would you want from it that I could ship to you?

Cant really tell from the pictures, but it looks original which would make it a 28/32 ADHA Weber I believe. I will check for you to make sure when the car arrives. But even if I part it out I'll probably try to get the engine running first and sell it as a whole.

If you decide to part out I would be interested in the exterior chrome trim around the window if in very good shape. Also the dash and wood trim.
