Hello my husband and i just bought our very first Fiat ever! Its a 1981 2000 spider convertible! Neither of us really know a whole lot about them but we are gonna give it a try!!

Its a lil bit of a project! We just bought a new top for it waiting for it to get here! But the car runs like a dream!! i do have a question tho is a 124 the same thing as the 2000 spider? we arent really sure so i thought i should ask someone who knows more than i!

yes the 124 was the early name they have smaller engines with carbs and the 2000 has 1995 block and fuel injected

Thank u! I just wanted to make sure! I looked some stuff up and that was the conclusion that i came to but i would rather be safe than sorry since have to order parts and stuff!
