Hi everyone,
I very nearly just bought a 77 import from California that needed just about everything doing to it. Common sense prevailed as I am not particularly handy with the spanners and I have decided to keep looking and buy an already restored car. I am looking to have my first Fiat as I am getting married this summer and I have persuaded my future wife that open top motoring around France, Italy and Spain for 2 months would be the prefect honeymoon. Now I just need to find the prefect car! I will keep my eyes peeled in all the usual places, but if any of the British members are looking to sell their beloved cars, then please get in touch.
Thanks,
Dom

Re: Hello from London
Hi Dom. good call it letting the "fixer-upper" go. Take a look at the cars for sale section here. Also IAP web site has a classified section. Don't know the budget but I'd be guessing one could find a well sorted car on the east coast for around $5-7000.00, last thing you'd want on a honey moon is to be stranded and facing foreign repair bills.(I like the FI cars)
Good luck and send pics when you find the car... Also perhaps some pics suitable for the family of the car when in Europe

Welcome to the forum. When you get your car and cruise the highways and byways of Europe be sure to drop in. I'm in Andalucia, and there's always a welcome for spider owners.
Re: Hello from London
Hi SPiddy
We are definitely planning on going to Andalucia, so we will be sure to get in touch. Maybe you can recommend some good places to stay or to check out?
Thanks

I may be able to help you. My 1983 Pininfarina spidereuropa in "Verde Scuro" (dark green) is for sale as I just don't use it enough.
It's MoT'ed till October.
Here it is at the 2009 Wallingford rally
and here it is at the Thatcham Classic in October 2011
It's near Swindon, just off the M4.
Please PM me if you are interested in knowing more.
