Yes and a internal spring compressor works the best

YES use the internal compressor to REMOVE the springs without injury (doesn't look like much but compressed quite a ways, about 4"). the new/cut springs are a bit shorter but still need to be compressed to be reinstalled between the suspension arms without threat of bodily harm.

Heres a pic of my factory springs with the compressor still installed after removal, the new/cut springs will be shorter than the stock ones but will need the compression to fit back into the suspension.

I used this pic of my full length springs compressed when removed to see where the compressor needed to refit my springs AFTER I cut them to be reinstalled, ie X turns above the compressor & below so it wasn't trapped when reinstalled

An internal spring compressor can be borrowed from most major parts supply stores. The one I borrowed from Autozone worked great. I loosen the lower control swing bolt nuts and remove the front sway bar when removing/replacing front springs. This allows the control arm to swing down much more and then the springs don't need to be compressed as far. The front of the car needs to be pretty high for the control arm to have full travel. Read service manual on proper procedure for tightening control arm swing bolt nuts. Hope this helps

Ok guys I got the new struts and springs installed!!!!!
After blood (seriously) sweat (tons of it) and tears (almost) I am done.
Just a quick note for everyone, the internal spring compression tool from auto zone
Will work on the IAP spring but it is very difficult to use as the base of the tool
Is the same height or less as the springs when they are installed, so when you
try and remove the tool there is very very little room if any it took me 4 tries on front left an 2 on front right.
Thanks for the help Gabe
