Hi from Washington State

I am new to this group but not fiats my first car was a 600d in 1968 over the years I have owned 600ds and 850s but always wanted a 850 Coupe. If a member or the groupe have any ideas please let me know. I am also a Aircraft A/P IA at the Cashmere Airport (8S2) and a barter would be cool.

Thanks for your time Alan

There is a 850 coupe shell just down the road from me. I'll ask what the deal is with it.
Where in WA state are you? I'm about 3-4 hours north of Wenatchie or 40 miles N of the border in BC.

There is a very good candidate on Ebay right now. A bit pricey but these are as rare in the US as many Ferraris are.

Good luck with your pursuit, I have had mine for over twenty years and love it.

Crikey.. don't get me started on the 850's. I'm having troubles finishing a 72 (motivation block)and I've bought a rust free 81 shell and perhaps a 81 write off the would be an excellent donor car. There is that 68" 60 kms south of me that needs shock towers and a bit of loving (I have spare parts there).
This 850 has fresh white paint and looks good from 15 feet but I should look closer. The price of fuel here is $1.28 / liter and is heading north on a regular basis..... The spin doctors say $1.50 / L before long. 850 is a fuel miser, right...?
Going to have to win a lottery to pursue this fiat hobby properly....
