I bought the Hella e type lights and bulbs from:

Haven't found a summary in the threads of expected voltages at the headlight socket, so here is what I recorded yesterday when refurbishing the bulbs/holders, etc:
LEFT RIGHT
KEY ON (ENGINE OFF): HIGH BEAM 11.0 VDC 10.0
LOW BEAM 11.0 10.4
ENGINE AT IDLE: HIGH BEAM 12.0 12.0
LOW BEAM 12.1 12.1
ENGINE AT 2000rpm: HIGH BEAM 12.9 13.0
LOW BEAM 13.0 13.0
I would be curious to know if these are typical voltages at the plug. The car is stock, no Brown Wire Upgrade (yet) and headlights are not on a separate relay (yet).
