New fiat owner in so-cal

whats up fiat enthusiast of fiatspider.com, the names adam or my forum handle (Antik), to give you guys a quick run down I just bought my mothers 1980 Fiat Spider FI 2000 ( she was the 2nd owner, when she bought it back in 88) just shipped the vehicle down from oregon here to Cali. Its going to be a fun project for myself and my buddy (WRX owner) to work on.

As far as the condition of the spider, it has 57,000 miles on it, and has been sitting in oregon for about 5 years. Keep in mind it used to run like a champ before sitting in OR.

(parts /etc. purchased so far)

oil change kit
tranny fluid
brake fluid
new electric fuel pump
new universal throttle cable

( restoration progress)

Today will be our 2nd day working on it, so far we have the gas tank dismantled ( so we can clean out all the gunk)
and were gonna clean out all of the fuel lines, next we'll install the fuel pump, throttle cable,and change out the fluids.


we're taking alot of pictures along the way, so i'll be sure to post our progress in the restoration section =p

Any and all input will be greatly appreciated, to help us out during this project.
