Greetings from Nova Scotia

Post by pluktv »

Hi Everyone.
Finally taken the plunge and blagged myself a nice `79 spider. Only just drove it home and I`m absolutely delighted with it so far. There is a few little things to attend to but that should be the fun stuff.
It has to be said that this forum was instrumental with making my mind up to go Italian, as I was toying with MG`s and stuff or maybe another motorcycle. I`m pretty sure I`ve made the right choice. Well, it was this or some new windows for the basement,

Not quite legal so hopefully it`s a nice day tomorrow and I can slope off early from work...

Cheers
Phil

In the few Hours that have elapsed between me not being at work, foggy weather and sleep we`ve put a few hundred clicks on it already. First reports suggest that this is going to be an absolute hoot. Can`t wait until the summer really kicks in!

Cheers!!

Hi Eric

I have seen only one other Spider on the road so far. Where I work is on the same road as European Auto services in Bedford so I tend to see one or two spiders hanging around his place most days. They are out there!!

As you say, it would be good to get together for a spin or two if we could get a few of us together.

Anyone up for that?

Phil

Love Nova Scotia. I've got many cousins in the Antigonish area. Never took my spider on the Cabot trail but I can tell you it was a pretty scary ride in a Winnabago.

You have probably seen my car there for sure. It was there for about 2 and a half weeks the beginning of May. I will probably post something about an organized ride in that section of the forum in the near future, just searching out a few more contacts. Posted a pic of my car in my intro thread
